I'm so tired of the constant battle between people of faith and hardcore athiests who demand scientific proof of the afterlife. Even when undeniable evidence is shown to them, they dismiss it (quite unscientificly) and demand more.
All I hear is the same, tired theories (in their opinion, facts) that NDEs are nothing more than "random firings of synapses caused by a dying brain." Now, I'm no expert, but doesn't random mean something that isn't always the same? If it is all just "randomness", why do people "dream" of the same thing, ie. a loving light, a tunnel, meeting relatives and other beings? Why don't we hear of people visiting the land of dancing bananas or meeting the Wizard of Oz?
I'll never stop believing in God, and my love for Him/Her will last until the end of time, but it just irritates me so much having to argue athiests all the time.
