- I had a spiritual experience when I was 3. I was deathly afraid of thunder & lightening & one night after going to bed (during a terrible Sept storm) I was awakened & compelled to go to the window. I did & Jesus was in my back yard surrounded by about 5 kids and it was all light (in the middle of a storm) He spoke to me through my thoughts and said"Rebecca don't be afraid of the lightening, it will never hurt you" It felt so natural to see him and I was happy & went back to bed. I woke up the next morning & showed my Nana & poppop where he was and what happened. I am not 36 and it is still as vivid as it was all those yrs ago.
