- My "near death experience" has been something that happened over time, working and walking with those who are preparing to die (and their loved ones). Having done this end-of-life coaching work now for almost 15 years, I feel like I've had a gradual near death experience that has transformed my life. I realize that what we see is only the tip of the iceburg and there is so much more than meets the eye. I want to help Americans overcome their fear of death; as I know we are in for the adventure of a lifetime when our time comes.
