Home of the NDER's

Today, I was talking with a person who has had an nde. and it was so sad to hear him in such pain.
He really wanted to die and be as he called it "safe at last" He has had a few ndes and this one was caused by his driving too quickly on the motorway.
It is as if he has had a taste of what he said was quote, "nothingness" and this was better than quote, the "somethingness of this painful existance"
I watched with his pain , I did not rry to make things better for him , I simply said, Peter , I am here, keep talking , I hear you.
After what seemed like an hour or more, he then began to cry, and all the pain of early childhood, of being left to cry for hours, of being left in a cold bed , not being fed when he was hungry, etc etc, came out . Such agony for a young child to have had to experience, AND NO WITNESSES TO HIS PAIN.
He did have a favourite tree and he said, that often he wanted to ralk to it, but he felt silly , so he did not . It is so important that children have a pet dog or an animal that can be a witness for them , a being that can listen and not try to fix or judge .
After Peter left me with another chance for meeting tomorrow, he just said..
".Oh God, Phyllida , I hope it is not too late for me to find peace in the world ,and not have to make so many accidents as a way out "
I understood his words. I look forward to being with Peter again and again . Not as a Psychotherapist , but as a witness to his pain ,and then , both of us can" watch" in awe, as his own soul leads him into feelings, and expressing the stuffed down emotions of childhood. Then , he can begin to see his own worth ,and take responsibility for his own inner authority and wisdom.
Dera Friends, so many wanting to leave this world of form at the moment. Let us open our hearts to their cries and be available ....to sit and LISTEN/WATCHWITH. them.
Jesus said ..".Can you watch one hour with me"...HE DID NOT ASK FOR THERAPY; JUST THE PRESENCE OF A HUMAN HEART BEATING BESIDE HIM .
May we all breathe in love today , for ourselves amnd for the whole universe.
Woith joy, Phyllida

Amen Phillida. A shoulder to cry on and an ear that hears can heal someones soul.
In the fast pace we run our lives today we can miss the opportunity to really help someone.
Especially in todays computerized world where we almost don't need human interaction.
The computer became the babysitter. The only problem is...the computer don't have a shoulder and can't love us back. We need to get back to basics,
I remember my family talking at dinner time about our day activities. We could always lean on each other, good or bad. Most people just need someone that has a good ear and a loving heart to figured out whats bothering them. Thank you for what you do. You know the importance of love for others and I admired that.
Love is the only thing that can heal a broken heart. And feeling that love can heal a soul.

Much love to you my dear.

If people could know they would be heard and acknowledge it would solve most things.

Beautiful days to you.

Interesting, how we all want to return to the womb of love and security, when we feel no other option. To be that witness, is such a privilege, to help pass their days of suffering. We all need a dog --of sorts, don't we...? ;) And we must remember as you do --to not bark! Just listen, and love!!!

Dear Perry, Thank you for your loving hearts interest in dear Peter.
It is amazing grace every time ...He is healing the childhood pain and wounding. It is not an easy journey, but he WILL make it. There is enough inner wisdom to take him through. He was saying that he believed that if he had had someone believing his story before, that is his painful experiences as a child, he would not have had to try many times, unconsciously to die ...He is a dear person who like me and like us all , is doing his best to find love for himself and then extend this love to all beings...Blessings to you dear Perry and I also send blessings to your twin brother Peter .Much love to your dear family...Phyllida

Phyllida anam-aire,

If I could right now, I would... but I believe my physical body would be upset... too much karma to settle up for just now... I totally empathize with your friend... He realizes that his mind has witnessed something more than he can see with his physical eyes... It is as a dog who walks with a huge dog chain wrapped around his throat... as he attempts to release himself from his bond.... sometimes he near chokes himself to death... but on a rare day he actually escapes for a moment until his mater puts his chain back around his neck...

A health screener once asked me if I was depressed because I was answered on a series of questions that I would like to die... I said no... maybe pre-depressed though... but I said I would say I wouldn't mind dying at all... but that doesn't mean I would kill myself... I consider life too sacred to do such violence to even my own body... but your friend setting up scenarios where he could end up that way...dead... makes me wonder if I might have some of that spirit in me... Interesting observations you have there... much food for thought...

It makes me wonder how I could be the way I am now... living very close to potential calamity...

Dear Phyllida

Do you have info on where and how to get hooked up with people in this type of need?

I was my father's caregiver in the last two years of his life, much of the time we just looked into each others eyes because he could not speak, he let me know that nothing more than that was needed.
I had a front row seat to the miracle of death on God's terms. It was perfection
.

Dear Lynn,
I know that we use the "Samaritans" in the U.K. In Ireland we also have" the listening ear" . I remember in America, we had the "Compassionate friends "organization which was wonderful.I am sure they would all be very helpful.
I hope life is good for you Lynn....Again I ask , did you ever get my book which I sent you immediatly you enquired about it ....Be well in all of you dear woman ,. With love and joy , Phyllida.
